Q3 real estate sales report: Brookfield

Median prices rose in Brookfield over last year, and are up 2.8 percent over 10 years, adjusted for inflation, according to third quarter sales data collected by BlockShopper.com.

From July to September, 93 homes sold in Brookfield for a median price of $264,500. That's 8.7 percent higher than median home sale prices for the third quarter of 2017.

In the third quarter, 4 homes in Brookfield were in foreclosure.

Median property tax for homeowners in Brookfield was $6,510.16 in 2017 according to tax data from that year. That means homeowners pay 2.7 percent of their home's value in taxes.
