Report: Riverside Brookfield spent $15,163 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Riverside Brookfield High School District 208 is down 4.5 percent from five years ago, according to a West Cook News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Cook County school district spent $15,879 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $15,163 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 1512 to 1632.

Riverside Brookfield's spending in 2017-18 was 13.7 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
