Report: Rhodes spent $14,473 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Rhodes School District 84-5 is down 8.9 percent from five years ago, according to a West Cook News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Cook County school district spent $15,894 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $14,473 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 672 to 655.

Rhodes's spending in 2017-18 was 8.5 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
