Report: 18.4% of Triton College students repaying loans are in default

Out of 476 Triton College students repaying loans in 2015, 88 were in default, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

That gives the two-year public school in River Grove a default rate of 18.4 percent for that year – 6.1 percentage points higher than in 2014 and 6.6 points higher than in 2013.

Triton College had 31 more students in default in 2015 than in 2014 and 36 more than in 2013.
