75 percent of applicants to Concordia University-Chicago were admitted for fall 2017

At Concordia University-Chicago, 83 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 59 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in River Forest enrolled 5,755 students in fall 2017, including 1,458 in undergraduate and 4,297 in graduate programs, data shows. 10.2 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

67 percent of undergraduates are residents of Illinois, and 33 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (45 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (29 percent).

The school admitted 75 percent of the 4,755 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 9 percent enrolled.
