BROOKFIELD POLICE PENSION FUND: Utility Billing Changes

Katehiscockflickr

Brookfield Police Pension Fund issued the following announcement on June 26.

In July, the Village of Brookfield will be transitioning to bimonthly billing for our residential water customers. A shorter billing cycle will allow more opportunities for residents to identify and stop leaks. It is our intention that smaller, more frequent bills will also make it easier for our residents to make regular payments on their utility account.

Minimum usage levels and garbage charges will be adjusted to reflect the new billing cycles. However, during this transition period, not all accounts will change at once. Read your next bill carefully to see if it encompasses a two or three month billing cycle.

Please note that monthly commercial accounts will NOT change. Any questions about the transition can be directed to Utility Billing Clerk Joan Gjondla.
