Village of Westchester President and Board of Trustees met June 12.

4.A Public Works Overtime (Discussion)

Robert explained the need to use overtime of Public Works personnel to complete water main projects that are of a great importance. Funds for a previously budgeted Bristol roadway project could be used for this and the Bristol project can be postponed until next year. Trustee Yurkovich asked if we could utilize crack fill funds that were budgeted.

4.B Public Works Uniform and Facility Contract (Discussion)

Uniform & facility contract.pdf Robert Lewis outlined that he had reviewed our current facility and uniform contract with Cintas and believed that he found a vendor that could reduce costs. He advised after reviewing several options UniFirst appeared to be the best option and would be bringing it forward at a future meeting.

Laura Lentino requested information regarding flags on the light poles. She also asked about flowers being planted around town. Trustee Celestino advised that flowers were in the process of being planted and the process has started.
