Cost of college went up for all students at Curve Metric School of Hair Design

Tuition and fees rose 3 percent for 2017-18 at Curve Metric School of Hair Design, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

Illinois students paid $10,200 to attend the private for-profit school this year $300 more than the $9,900 charged for 2016-17.

Data shows 56 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 23 students received grants or scholarships totaling $100,712.

Including all undergraduates, 42 students used grants or scholarships totaling $175,208.
