Illinois residents paid $8,212 to attend the two-year public institution this year $224 more than the $7,988 charged for 2016-17.
Non-residents paid 24.9 percent more than residents this year, or $10,260. Their price tag grew 2.2 percent from $10,036 in 2016-17.
About 99 percent of the school's undergraduate population are Illinois residents. And about 1 percent are residents of other states.
Data shows 66 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 284 students received grants or scholarships totaling $1.43 million and 7 students took out student loans totaling more than $29,338.
Including all undergraduates, 2,002 students used grants or scholarships totaling $9.16 million. Another 127 took out $614,605 in federal student loans.
