Report: Lindop spent $12,464 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Lindop School District 92 is up 21 percent from five years ago, according to a West Cook News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Cook County school district spent $10,328 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $12,464 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 490 to 420.

Lindop's spending in 2016-17 was 4 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
