Report: Lagrange Highlands spent $14,269 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Lagrange Highlands School District 106 is up 3 percent from five years ago, according to a West Cook News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Cook County school district spent $13,848 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $14,269 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 870 to 880.

Lagrange Highlands's spending in 2016-17 was 10 percent higher than the state average of $12,973.
