Analysis: Stone Park pays $9.46 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Stone Park Police Pensionfund

Taxpayers contributed 90.4 percent of the $819,007 the Stone Park Police Pensionfund brought in last year, or $9.46 for every $1 from pension members, according to a West Cook News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Stone Park contributed $740,725 to the fund, which saw a $144,556 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $78,283, or 9.6 percent, in 2016.
