Analysis: Forest View pays $8.30 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Forest View Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 89.3 percent of the $519,965 the Forest View Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $8.30 for every $1 from pension members, according to a West Cook News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Forest View contributed $464,077 to the fund, which saw a $122,695 decrease in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $55,888, or 10.7 percent, in 2016.
