Township Corporate Board met October 2.

1) Call To Order
The Board of Town Trustees of the Town of Proviso met at the Office of the Township Clerk, 4565 Harrison Street, Hillside, IL 60162 on Monday, October 2, 2017.
2) Roll Call
Supervisor Corrigan called the meeting to order at 5:38 p.m. and on a roll call the following responded: Trustees Thomas, Christopher, Chavez, Herrell and Supervisor Corrigan. Also present were Clerk Williams, Assessor Zawaski, Attorney Wolf, Lorenzo Webber, Youth Services Assistant, Craig Hanson, Maintenance Assistant.
3) Pledge Of Allegiance
Supervisor Corrigan led the board in the Pledge of Allegiance.
4) Approval Of Minutes
Trustee Chavez moved, seconded by Trustee Christopher that the Board of Trustees approve the minutes of the Senior Services Meeting held on September 20, 2017.

A. Supervisor’s Report – Warrants for August approved. Mike will attend the Hillside Veterans Parade scheduled for November 4, 2017. The prescription savings was reported; YTD savings is over 55% and total savings since implementation is over 61%. Supervisor acknowledged Elyse Kenny for 25 years of service. Trustee Herrell moved, seconded by Trustee Chavez that the Board of Trustees Approve GA warrants for August.

B. Clerk’s Report – September birth and death numbers provided
C. Trustee’s Report – None
D. Elected Officials Report – 7000 taxpayers assisted in office YTD. Assessor Zawaski acknowledged Roxanne’s 28 years of service.
E. Staff Report – Lorenzo discussed the 2nd Annual Youth Forum being held on October 15, 2017, at Rock of Ages at 6pm. The Pumpkin Patch Annual Gathering is scheduled for October 14, 2017, in Maywood at 5th & Lake. Craig Hanson was promoted to full-time as the Facilities Maintenance Assistant.
9) New Business
A. Consideration to approve specific personnel matters requiring board action.
B. Trustee Thomas moved, seconded by Trustee Herrell that the Board of Trustees approve a Resolution Authorizing the Purchase of a Vehicle for the Proviso Township Handyman Program.
