City of Northlake City Council met October 2.

Here is the minutes provided by the Council:

The regular meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. Alderman Straube asked everyone to stand for the pledge of allegiance. Alderman Straube called for the roll.

Roll Call:

Present: Alderman Straube, Feldmann, Contreras, Werba, Gonzalez, Grochowski And Patti

Absent: Alderman Padilla,

Nancy Pauletto, City Clerk

Others Present: Mayor Sherwin

Carol Lampard, Finance Director

Debra Raida, Deputy City Clerk

Norm Nissen Chief Of Police

Dale Roberts, Public Works Director

Alderman Straube presented the minutes of the regular meeting held on September 11, 2017. Alderman Grochowski made a motion to accept the minutes of the regular meeting held September 11, 2017; seconded by Alderman Patti. Alderman Straube asked if there were any additions or corrections. There a few corrections to the minutes. Alderman Straube called for a voice vote. All were in favor.

Motion To Accept The Minutes Of The September 11, 2017 City Council Meeting Carried

Alderman Patti made a motion to pay the warrants and vouchers if and when the funds become available; seconded by Alderman Feldmann. Alderman Straube called for the roll.

Roll Call: Alderman Straube, Feldmann, Contreras, Werba, Gonzalez, Grochowski And Patti

Absent: Alderman Padilla

Nays: None

Motion To Pay The Warrants And Vouchers Carried

The City Council did not make a motion regarding the Fitness Equipment Grant as this was not passed in Finance.

Alderman Patti made a motion to approve Resolution R-15-2017; seconded by Alderman Werba. Alderman Straube called for the roll.

Roll Call: Alderman Straube, Feldmann, Contreras, Werba, Gonzalez, Grochowski And Patti

Absent: Alderman Padilla

Nays: None

Motion To Approve Resolution R-15-2017; A Resolution Approving An Amendment To Lease With Towerco Icv, Llc Carried

Alderman Patti made a motion to refer Grievance 17-3 to Hearing Officer; seconded by Alderman Grochowski. Alderman Straube called for the roll.

Roll Call: Alderman Straube, Feldmann, Contreras, Werba, Gonzalez, Grochowski And Patti

Absent: Alderman Padilla

Nays: None

Motion To Refer Grievance 17-3 To Hearing Officer Carried

Alderman Feldmann made a motion to approve Ordinance O-16-017; seconded by Alderman Patti. Alderman Straube called for the roll.

Roll Call: Alderman Straube, Feldmann, Contreras, Werba, Gonzalez, Grochowski And Patti

Absent: Alderman Padilla

Nays: None

Motion To Approve Ordinance O-16-2017; An Ordinance Terminating The North Avenue And Wolf Road –Southwest Redevelopment Project Area; Terminating Tax Increment Allocation Financing And Dissolving The Special Tax Allocation Fund Therefore In The City Of Northlake, Cook County, Illinois (Tif Iv - Home Depot) Carried

Alderman Grochowski made a motion to approve Resolution R-16-2017 with the amended years from 75 to 99; seconded by Alderman Patti. Alderman Straube called for the roll.

Roll Call: Alderman Straube, Feldmann, Contreras, Werba, Gonzalez, Grochowski And Patti

Absent: Alderman Padilla

Nays: None

Motion To Approve Resolution R-16-2017 With The Amended Years From 75 To 99; A Resolution Approving A Lease With Trinity Services Inc. For The Property Commonly Known As 221 South Wolf Road, Northlake, Illinois Carried

There being no further business, Alderman Feldmann made a motion to adjourn; seconded by Alderman Patti. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor.
