City of Northlake Youth Commission met July 12.
Here is the minutes provided by the Commission:
Attendance: Sheila Morgan, Sharon Budzon, John Morgan, Veronica Budzon
Absent: Rebecca Morgan, Richard Martinez
Guests: Francine Patti
Minutes of the June 21, 2017 Meeting:
The minutes of the June 21, 2017 meeting were read. A motion was made by John to accept the minutes. Veronica seconded the motion. All Were in favor.
Old Business:
1. New BINGO Equipment-Sheila will have Rebecca find options Online So she can present the information at Our next meeting.
2. New Commissioner-Sheila reported that We have not received any candidate Suggestions from the aldermen yet.
3. Kids' Sand Craft Event-7I19.- If the Weather is mild We will hold it Outside to avoid a mess. Sheila has to Work and will be unable to make it. Sharon, John, Veronica, and possibly Trisha will Work. Veronica has purchased supplies and we have sand left over from past events.
4. Kids' Fall Bingo. We decided to have this event in September because August is So hectic with Schools starting.
Sharon will call Liz to book it for 9/13/17 right after Our meeting. The meeting time will be changed to 5:30pm and location changed to the Sandy Vazquez Community Center where the Sand Crafts is being held.
New Business:
1. BOOFEST-Do we need to Contact Katreina now about helping us again?
There was no other business discussed. Sharon moved for adjournment, Seconded by John. All Were in favor. Youth Commission Chairperson, Sheila Morgan, adjourned the meeting at 6:45pm.
