The Regular Meeting of the Berwyn Park District Board of Commissioners was called to order at 7:00 pm. by Board President Mario Manfredini. The meeting was held at the Proksa Park Activity Center, 3001 S. Wisconsin Avenue, Berwyn, Illinois.

Commissioner Estrella moved, seconded by Commissioner Fejt to excuse Commissioner Karasek from the meeting.

A. Commissioner Fejt moved, seconded by Commissioner Estrella to accept the Treasurer's report as presented by Commissioner Estrella and place on file for audit.

A. Commissioner Estrella moved, seconded by Commissioner Fejt to accept the Cook County Clerk's Canvas of Votes for the Office of Berwyn Park District Commissioner from the Consolidated Election Held on April 4, 2017 certifying the election of Ana M. Espinoza for a six-year full tem and Brian L. Brock for a two-year partial term.

B. The Honorable Joseph Lanzilotti, retired Mayor of the City of Berwyn, administered the Oath of Office to both Ms. Espinoza and Mr. Brock. Having been duly sworn in, both Board members took their respective seats at the Board table and FormerCommissioner Estrella relinquished his seat. Several kind words were spoken by all parties.
C. Commissioner Brock moved, seconded by Commissioner Espinoza to elect Mario Manfredini as President, Sandra Fejt as Vice President, and Edward A. Karasek as secretary of the Berwyn Park District Board of Commissioners.

D. Commissioner Fejt moved, seconded by Commissioner Espinoza to reappoint Ice Miller, LLP as attorney and Gerald Sebesta as Treasurer as recommended by Executive Director Jeff Janda.

E. Commissioner Fejt moved, seconded by Commissioner Brock to appoint Mary Gail Corpus as the Deputy Secretary for the Berwyn Park District.

F. Commissioner Fejt moved, seconded by Commissioner Espinoza to waive the reading of the Byline Bank Signature Card Resolution changing the authorized signers on park district accounts to reflect the new Board of Commissioners.

G. Commissioner Fejt moved, seconded by Commissioner Brock to adopt the Byline Bank Signature Card Resolution changing the authorized signers on park district accounts to reflect the new Board of Commissioners.
