Village of Elmwood Park President and Board of Trustees met April 3.

Here is the minutes provided by the Board:

The 2,211th meeting of the President and Board of Trustees was called to order by President Angelo "Skip' Saviano at 7:00pm. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

On roll call the following members were present: Anthony DelSanto, Jonathan Zivojnovic, Angelo Lollino, Alan Kaminski, Jeff Sargent and President Saviano. Absent: Angela Stranges. A motion was made by Trustee Zivojnovic and seconded by Trustee Kaminski to excuse Trustee Stranges from the meeting. Motion carried,

None At This Meeting.

Committee Reports:

The Village Clerk reported that today was the last day for “Early Voting" for the municipal elections taking place tomorrow, April 4". Village Hall serviced 567 early voters for the two weeks of early voting. The Clerk reminded the board and audience the polls open tomorrow at 6:00am and close at 7:00pm. Trustee DeSanto reported the “Neighborhood Watch” meetings will start on April 26" for area 1 at the police department. He also reported the EPNCO will be hosting a “Texas Hold Em' poker tournament at the Moose Lodge in River Grove on Friday, April 7" with proceeds going to District 401 students, Trustee Zivojnovic reported the Senior Advisory Board is looking for new members and urged those interested to send their letter of intent to Senior Coordinator, Tina Gordon. Trustee Kaminski reported the finance committee met this evening and reviewed the bills and vouchers for the month of March 2017 and Recommended Same For Approval.

Managers Report:

Mr. Volpe reported on the 2017-19 Tree Removal and Tree Trimming Program, the agreement with Red Speed Illinois, Agreements with Performance Lighting and Mobile Staging for special events, an Ordinance that reserves the Village’s allocation of PAB volume cap, Spring Clean-up week April 17-20" and construction on Conti Parkway beginning today. He also reported that Metra informed the village of their intent to repair the tracks at Grand Avenue sometime in June or July for one to two weeks, He also advised the board and audience of the village's purchase of 20-21 Conti Parkway which closed this week. A motion was made by Trustee DelSanto and seconded by Trustee Zivojnovic to approve the items on the consent agenda below:

a) Approval of the minutes of the meeting of the President and Board of Trustees held on March 20, 2017.

On roll call, the following voted "Aye": Anthony DelSanto, Jonathan Zivojnovic, Angelo Lollino, Alan Kaminski, Jeff Sargent and President Saviano. “Nay: None. “Absent’: Angela Stranges. Motion Carried.

With no other business to be brought before the board, a motion was made by Trustee Zivojnovic and seconded by Trustee Lollino to adjourn the meeting,
