Cook County Finance Subcommittee on Workers Compensation settles cases

The Cook County Finance Subcommittee on Workers Compensation met March 8 to settle cases.

Approval of the minutes from the meeting of 2/7/2017

A motion was made by Vice Chairman Moody, seconded by Commissioner Moore, to approve 17-2059. The motion carried by the following vote:

Commissioner Moody seconded by Commissioner Moore moved Approval. The motion carried.

S275,781.36 The Petitioner received an electrical shock causing him to fall against the wall

Commissioner Moody seconded by Commissioner Moore moved Approval. The motion carried.

S68, 124.00 Petitioner injured his right shoulder due to repetitive trauma while performing his job duties at a work station with ergonomic issues.

Petitioner injured his left shoulder lifting a 200 pound box of computer paper.

Commissioner Moody seconded by Commissioner Moore moved Approval. The motion carried.

ADJOURNMENT

A motion was made by Commissioner Goslin, seconded by Commissioner Moore to adjourn the meeting. The motion carried by the following vote:
