The Village Board of the Village of Bellwood will conduct a regular board meeting on

Wednesday, January 18, 2017, at 6:00 p.m. in the Village Board Room at 3200 Washington

Boulevard, Bellwood, IL 60104-1984 for the purposes of considering the following agenda:

1 Call to Order

2 Roll Call: Mayor Pasquale, Trustees Ciavattone, Holman, Robinson, Delgado, Nightengale

a Appointment of Jophelia Boston to the office of Village Trustee, and

b Swearing In Jophelia Boston as Village Trustee

6 Approve Minutes of last Regular Board Meeting

i Departmental Report,

ii Item B - Employee filed suit before the Illinois Industrial Commission seeking

recovery for benefits, losses and damages relating to an alleged injury suffered

during the course of employment, the parties by and through counsel have reached an

amicable resolution of the matter in the amount of $6,300.00,

iii Item H - Employee filed suit before the Illinois Industrial Commission seeking

recovery for benefits, losses and damages relating to an alleged injury suffered

during the course of employment, the parties by and through counsel have reached an

amicable resolution of the matter in the amount of $6,244.79,

ii Item C - The village has designated certain funds for the purchase of public safety

equipment and certain vehicles from the 2016 Capital Projects Fund,

iii Item A – The agreement engages Sikich, LLP for the purpose of performing an audit

of the Village’s financial records,

ii Item G - The Village previously approved the disposition of the surplus real estate

located at 1136 24th Avenue Bellwood, Illinois, the attached contract provides for the

sale of the real estate as provided within the agreement (Wilson School Property),

e Quality of Life – Trustee Holman, Chairman; Trustee Boston, Member,

i Departmental Report,

ii Item F - The Village previously approved the development of the surplus property

located at Randolph Court to construct twelve single family homes, the attached

contract provides for the construction of one of the homes and related sale of

property,

f Public Works – Trustee Ciavattone, Chairman; Trustee Delgado, Member,

ii Item D - The village annually provides maintenance on designated and eligible

streets and highways using funding generated by the village’s motor fuel tax,

iii Item E - The agreement provides for engineering services necessary for the village’s

annual maintenance on designated and eligible streets and highways as provided by

funding generated by the village’s motor fuel tax,
