Lyons Board of Trustees met Wednesday, Dec. 21.

The board consists of the village president and six trustees, all of whom are elected for four-year staggered terms. Meetings are typically held at 7 p.m. on the first and third Wednesday of each month.

Call to Order Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Mayor Christopher Getty.

Roll Call Clerk Quintero called roll. Present: Mayor Getty, Trustees Echeverria, Hilker, Marchiori, Ramirez, Veselsky. Absent: Trustee Alonzi. Also present: Finance Director Denys, and Attorney Sterk.

Finance Mayor Getty entertained a motion to approve WARRANT No. 12-21-16 in the amount of $4,094,871.37. Motion made by Trustee Ramirez, seconded by Hilker. Clerk Quintero called roll:

A. Action Regarding Ordiance 12-21-16-O1 an ordinance adopting the Annual Budget for the Village of Lyons for the 2017 fiscal year.

B. Action Regarding Ordinance 12-21-16-O2 an ordinance providing for the levying of taxes for the fiscal year commencing January 1, 2017 and ending December 31, 2017 for the Village of Lyons, Cook County,

C. Action Regarding Ordinance 12-21-16-O3 an ordinance providing for the levying of taxes for the fiscal year commencing January 1, 2017 and ending December 31, 2017 for the Lyons Library, Cook county, Illinois.

Action Regarding Ordinance 12-21-16-O4 an ordinance authorizing and providing for the issuance of not to exceed $4,500,000 general obligation refunding bonds (Alternate Revenue Source), Series 2017A of the Village of Lyons, Cook County, Illinois and for the Levy of a Direct Annual Tax sufficient to pay the principal and interest on said bonds.
