The River Forest Traffic and Safety Committee will review the effectiveness of the traffic and parking changes implemented last year around Roosevelt Middle School during its next meeting 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Village Hall in the first-floor Community Room.

The commission is tasked with reviewing transit, parking and potentially hazardous traffic matters in the Village and advising the village board on dealing with them.

Below is the agenda for this meeting, as provided by the committee.

PUBLIC MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT

Roosevelt Middle School – Traffic and Safety Committee Meeting

On Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 7:30 PM the Village of River Forest Traffic and Safety Committee will be conducting a review of the changes that were implemented to the traffic pattern and on street parking around Roosevelt Middle School. As a part of the approval, the Village elected to review the changes roughly one year after execution. This meeting is planned in accordance with that process.

Recently, the Village’s traffic consultant has conducted a formal review of the changes that were made.

Results from this study will be discussed.

As always, all residents are welcome to attend. Public comment will be heard. Any resident wishing to submit comments may email Village Engineer Jeff Loster at jloster@vrf.us. The meeting will take place in the first floor community room at Village Hall at 7:30 PM.
