At a recent meeting, the Maywood Public Library District Board agreed to begin offering health care benefits to retirees.
The board also agreed to revise its policies on meeting-room use, sexual-harassment prevention and unescorted minors in the library.
The board also reviewed documents from the ILA Trustee Forum pertaining to the Open Meetings Act and the Freedom of Information Act.
