The Proviso Township High Schools Board held a special meeting recently to discuss student-discipline issues.

The early part of the meeting was held in a closed executive session, which is often done when sensitive issues involving personnel, students or pending litigation are involved.

Any matters that required action were carried out after the executive session, in public view.

The board also discussed upcoming PASO immigration events.
