Forest Park Fire and Police Commission to review job candidates

The Forest Park Fire & Police Commission will hold a special meeting 3 p.m. Friday at Village Hall, 517 Desplaines Ave., to discuss candidate testing and hiring, along with other related issues.

The commission will review the results of medical and background checks for firefighter candidate William Toth and police officer candidate Nicholas Christopher. The commission also will review the results of entry-level police officer candidate interviews.

The commission also will discuss the status of exams for police sergeant and fire captain, as well as the status of entry-level police and fire candidates.

The commission also will review communications from the Forest Park Village Council regarding two entry-level police officer openings, as well as police sergeant and police lieutenant promotions.
