The Park District of Forest Park's Board of Commissioners discussed the Master Plan at its March 17 meeting.
The board also discussed Senate Bill 2179, the IAPD Legislative Conference and issues concerning the Roos Property.
The Illinois Association of Park Districts followed with their report, as did the Forest Park Public Schools District 91 Citizens’ Advisory Committee and the Park District of Forest Park Foundation.
The board then discussed the commercial use of the the Park District's parking facilities, as well as issues concerning the abatement ordinance.
The board also was expected to approve the appointment of Shannon Wood to the Park District of Forest Park Foundation, as well as the slate of officers for 2016-2017.
The next meeting is scheduled for April 21.
