The Western Springs General Government Committee was set to consider renewing the village's operating agreement with the French Market at its March 9 meeting.
The French Market is an outdoor market on Hillgrove Avenue that sells fresh produce, cheese, baked goods and other artisanal foods, as well as meat and seafood, from May through October
The committee also was expected to discuss reinstating the title of fire marshal.
