Western Springs said this week that it has released the village's 2015 Water Infrastructure Report.
The report can be viewed on a desktop computer, laptop, smartphone and tablet, and includes a review of current infrastructure, a summary of 2015 water projects, water-main break and water-loss information, and a list of capital projects for 2016.
Projects scheduled for this year include completing the leak-detection survey, hydrant flushing, researching a location for Well No. 5, updating the village's sewer atlas, automating the water-treatment plant and applying for funding through the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency.
