River Forest Village Board reviews Chicago Avenue traffic study

The River Forest Village Board reviewed the results of a study on Chicago Avenue traffic patterns during a special meeting this week.

The board also was expected to discuss commuter parking, as well as proposed ordinances to amend planned-development and short-term-rental regulations.

The board also was expected to consider requests to amend planned-development permits pertaining to St. Vincent Church and Roosevelt Middle School.

The River Forest board of trustees consists of President Catherine Adduci, Village Clerk Shannon Halperin, Susan Conti, Carmela Corsini, Michael Gibbs, Thomas Cargie, Thomas Dwyer Jr. and Roma Colwell-Steinke.
