The board also would consider a plan to buy six new police cars through the Suburban Purchasing Cooperative.

The board also was expected to consider and possibly vote on renewing its membership in the O'Hare Noise Compatibility Commission.

The board also held a closed session to discuss any sensitive matters pertaining to personnel, union agreements or pending litigation.

The Bellwood board includes Michael Ciavattone, Annie Delgado, Gloria Holman, Phylistine Murphy, Ronald Nightengale and M.C. Robinson.
