The District 90 Committee of the Whole discussed changes to the Roosevelt Middle School exterior design project at a recent meeting.

The proposed changes were presented by Arvin Villanueva from TERRA Engineering and inspired discussion of moving visitor parking into the North Lot. Committee members said the plan had been discussed with representatives from the River Forest Public Library.

The committee also heard public comments from Brian Carroll, who expressed his support for a full-day kindergarten program. Carroll said a half day isn't enough time for students to complete the daily curriculum and that many half-day students spend the rest of their day in supplemental education programs anyway.
