 The Dominican University men’s volleyball team hosted California Lutheran on Friday.

Results:
CLU: 3
Dominican: 0

How it Happened:
-Dominican started off slowly and only had 8 kills with a match-high 6 errors.
-The Stars had a slightly better second set with 9 kills and only 1 error.
-DU raised their kill percentage but lost the third set 25-22.

Shining Stars:
-Sophomore Aaron Marrs had a strong outing and led the team in kills.
-Freshman David Valdez stepped up and led the team with 21 assists and 2 aces.
-Freshman Casey Goss did a nice job defensively and led the team in digs.

What’s Next:
The Dominican University men’s volleyball team will wrap up their busy week with a road match against Lakeland at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
