Stars Fall In NACC Semifinals

The Dominican University women’s soccer team was back in action this afternoon hosting Concordia University-Wisconsin in the semi-finals of the NACC tournament.

The Stars got the scoring going in the first half with a goal in the sixth minute from senior Regan Coxon assisted by senior Hannah Anderson. The Falcons found the equalizer fifteen minutes later and the score was 1-1 going into the half.

In the second half, the Falcons got back-to-back goals just two minutes apart from each other and the Stars found themselves down 3-1.

Dominican was unable to come back from this deficit and their conference season comes to an end. The Dominican soccer team’s season may not be over yet with a chance of an at-large bid, they can still find themselves playing in the NCAA tournament.

Please come out to our selection show watch party at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, November 7th in the social hall to see if the stars get an at-large bid to the tournament.
