The Town of Cicero held its Spring Bingo event for seniors on April 8, welcoming dozens of residents to a morning filled with bingo games, prizes, and breakfast. The gathering took place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., providing an opportunity for participants to socialize and enjoy friendly competition.
The event aimed to strengthen community ties among Cicero’s senior population by offering a space where they could connect and engage with one another. Organizers said the program reflects ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of life for older residents in the town.
Town President Larry Dominick said, “Events like this are what make Cicero special. We are committed to making sure our seniors feel valued, supported, and connected. Seeing this room full of energy, laughter, and community is exactly why we do what we do.”
Senior Center Director Diana Dominick also spoke about the significance of these gatherings. “There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing our seniors happy, engaged, and enjoying time together. This is more than just bingo—it’s about friendship, connection, and creating moments that truly matter.”
With numbers called out and cheers echoing through the room as cards were marked off during play, organizers said Spring Bingo offered more than entertainment—it provided meaningful moments that help foster a sense of belonging among local seniors.
Looking ahead, officials say they remain committed to hosting similar events designed to bring residents together throughout the year.
