Proviso Township Board of Town Trustees met June 6.

1) CALL TO ORDER

The Board of Town Trustees of the Town of Proviso met at the Office of the Township Clerk, 4565 Harrison Street, Hillside, IL 60162.

2) ROLL CALL

Supervisor Corrigan called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. and on a roll call the following responded present: Trustees Thomas, Chavez, Herrell, Supervisor Corrigan, Clerk Williams, Assessor Zawaski, and Attorney Durkin. Trustee Christopher attended the meeting via audio conference.

3) PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

Supervisor Corrigan led the board in the Pledge of Allegiance.

4) APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Trustee Herrell moved, seconded by Trustee Chavez that the Board of Trustees approve the minutes of the Township Board Meeting held on May 18, 2022. Roll Call Vote #1

Ayes: Trustees Thomas, Christopher, Chavez, Herrell, Supervisor Corrigan

Nays: None

Absent: None

Motion carried

5) APPROVAL OF BILLS

Trustee Chavez moved, seconded by Trustee Herrell that the Board of Trustees approve payment of the bills submitted for May 16, 2022 – May 31, 2022 Roll Call Vote #2

Ayes: Trustees Thomas, Christopher, Chavez, Herrell, Supervisor Corrigan

Nays: None

Absent: None

6) ATTORNEY’ REPORT

None

A. Supervisor’s Report – No Warrants.

B. Clerk’s Report – Birth and Death numbers for May

C. Trustee’s Report – None

D. Elected Officials Report – Marlene Arredondo came to discuss safety issues on the 2nd Floor. Supervisor Corrigan already started a plan to address the issues.

E. Staff Report – None

9) NEW BUSINESS

A. Consideration to approve specific personnel matters requiring board action.

B. Trustee Herrell moved, seconded by Trustee Thomas that the Board of Trustees Adopt the Amended Budget and Appropriation Ordinance of the Township of Proviso, for the Fiscal year beginning April 1, 2022, and ending March 31, 2023.
