Proviso Township Board met March 2
Here are the minutes provided by the board:
1) CALL TO ORDER
The Board of Township Trustees of the Township of Proviso met at the Office of the Township Clerk, 4565 Harrison Street, Hillside, IL 60162 on Monday, March 2, 2026.
2) ROLL CALL
Supervisor Corrigan called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. on a roll call the following responded: Trustees Olson, Christopher, Chavez and Chase.
Also present were Clerk Anthony “Tony” Williams, Attorney Michael R. Durkin, Administrative Assistant, Dana Dussias, and Senior Services Director, Jorge Velazquez.
Assessor Steven Zawaski was absent. Trustees Christopher and Chase participated remotely.
3) PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Supervisor Corrigan led the board in the Pledge of Allegiance.
4) APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Trustee Chavez moved, seconded by Trustee Olson, that the Board of Trustees approve the minutes of the Township Board Meeting held on February 18, 2026.

5) APPROVAL OF BILLS
Trustee Chase moved, seconded by Trustee Christopher, that the Board of Trustees approve payment of the bills submitted for February 16, 2026 – February 28, 2026

A. Supervisor’s Report – Warrants for January were reviewed. Springfield report was read. Forest Park’s Annual St. Patrick’s Day parade will be on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 1-3pm. Proviso Township will have representation.
Trustee Chavez moved, seconded by Trustee Olson that the Board approve the payments of G.A. Warrants.
