Overnight lane and ramp closures are scheduled on Interstate 294 near Western Springs from March 4 to March 6. The closures will allow for electrical installation and attenuator work.
On Wednesday, March 4, the southbound I-294 from Cermak Plaza (exit 35) to 31st Street will have left lane closures from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. The northbound I-294 from Ogden Avenue to Cermak Road will also have left lane closures during the same hours.
On Thursday, March 5, right lane closures are planned for the same stretches of southbound and northbound I-294 between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.
Friday, March 6, will see right lane closures on southbound I-294 from Salt Creek to Ogden Avenue between 8 p.m. and midnight. In addition, the ramp from southbound I-294 to westbound Ogden Avenue will have its left side closed during those hours.
