On Wednesday, Feb. 26, former Nazareth Academy standout John Hughes’ current college team, the North Carolina Tar Heels, won 13-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the North Carolina A&T Aggies.
The game took place at Cary C. Boshamer Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Aggies this season.
The Tar Heels’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 4 p.m. at Cary C. Boshamer Stadium against Stony Brook Seawolves.
