On Tuesday, Feb. 25, former Nazareth Academy standout John Hughes’ current college team, the North Carolina Tar Heels, won 9-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the VCU Rams.
The game took place at Cary C. Boshamer Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Rams this season.
The Tar Heels’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 4 p.m. at Cary C. Boshamer Stadium against North Carolina A&T Aggies.
