On Sunday, March 2, former Lyons Township High School standout Anthony Sorrentino’s current college team, the Lewis Flyers, won 7-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Upper Iowa Peacocks.
The game took place at Ozinga Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Peacocks this season.
The Flyers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 1 p.m. at UIS Baseball Field against UIS Prairie Stars.
