On Sunday, Feb. 23, five former Oak Park And River Forest High School standouts, including Cole Benson, Cole Shamhart, Jack Flagg, John Philip Ferraro and Patrick Carmody’s current college team, the Illinois Wesleyan Titans, lost 12-4 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Grinnell Pioneers.

The game took place at Robert E. Smith Field. This was their second matchup against the Pioneers this season.

The Titans’ next game is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 24 at 2 p.m. at Robert E. Smith Field against Greenville Panthers.
