On Friday, March 7, former Oak Park And River Forest High School standout Sydney Ross’ current college team, the Saint Louis Billikens, lost 5-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Illinois Fighting Illini.
The game took place at Eichelberger Field. This was their first matchup against the Fighting Illini this season.
The Billikens’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 11 a.m. at Bittinger Stadium against Purdue Boilermakers.
