Sophie Stone, a former Fenwick High School standout, appeared for Oberlin Yeowomen in their NCAA Division III softball contest against the Centre Colonels on Saturday, March 14, at 1 p.m. Oberlin was defeated 11-6.
The teams faced off at Centre Softball Field for their second meeting of the season. In their earlier game on Saturday, March 14, Oberlin recorded a 3-2 victory over the Colonels.
Stone pitched 1.2 innings, yielding two earned runs, with two walks and two strikeouts.
The Yeowomen are scheduled to play next against the John Carroll Blue Streaks at Dolcemaschio Stadium on Saturday, April 4, at 1 p.m.
