The Oak Park Police Department has recently shared updates on police activity and highlighted its community outreach initiatives through a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter).

In addition to these updates, the department promoted its E.C.H.O. program in a post dated February 3, 2026: “The Village’s E.C.H.O. program strives to help address the unique needs of #OakPark residents with the goal of fostering a safer, healthier and more connected community.
