On Wednesday, April 16, five former Oak Park And River Forest High School standouts, including Cole Benson, Cole Shamhart, Jack Flagg, John Philip Ferraro and Patrick Carmody’s current college team, the Illinois Wesleyan Titans, won 9-3 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the North Central Cardinals.
The game took place at Zimmerman Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Cardinals this season.
The Titans’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 2 p.m. at Horenberger Field against Wheaton Thunder.
