On Thursday, March 13, five former Oak Park And River Forest High School standouts, including Cole Benson, Cole Shamhart, Jack Flagg, John Philip Ferraro and Patrick Carmody’s current college team, the Illinois Wesleyan Titans, won 5-2 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Skidmore Thoroughbreds.
The game took place at Terry Park Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Thoroughbreds this season.
The Titans’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 9 a.m. at Terry Park Stadium against Alfred State Pioneers.
