On Sunday, April 13, five former Oak Park And River Forest High School standouts, including Cole Benson, Cole Shamhart, Jack Flagg, John Philip Ferraro and Patrick Carmody’s current college team, the Illinois Wesleyan Titans, won 11-8 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Augustana College Vikings.
The game took place at Horenberger Field. This was their third matchup against the Vikings this season.
The Titans’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 16 at 5 p.m. at Zimmerman Stadium against North Central Cardinals.
