On Monday, Feb. 24, five former Oak Park And River Forest High School standouts, including Cole Benson, Cole Shamhart, Jack Flagg, John Philip Ferraro and Patrick Carmody’s current college team, the Illinois Wesleyan Titans, won 10-4 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Greenville Panthers.
The game took place at Robert E. Smith Field. This was their first matchup against the Panthers this season.
The Titans’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 11 a.m. at Kelly Field at Irv Utz Stadium against Washington Bears.
