On Friday, Feb. 28, former Nazareth Academy standout John Hughes’ current college team, the North Carolina Tar Heels, won 16-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Stony Brook Seawolves.
The game took place at Cary C. Boshamer Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Seawolves this season.
The Tar Heels’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 2 p.m. at Cary C. Boshamer Stadium against Stony Brook Seawolves.
