On Saturday, May 17, former Lyons Township High School standout Ava Kostecki’s current collegiate team the UW Whitewater Warhawks won 7-3 against the Case Western Reserve Spartans in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Mather Park at 11 a.m. and was the second matchup against the Case Western Reserve Spartans in the tournament.

The UW Whitewater Warhawks’ next game will take place on Thursday, May 22 at 2 p.m. at Saint Mary’s Softball Field.
